Dormant Account Fee
At Capstone FCU, your money is safe and available
for use as cash or collateral for a loan, so remember
to make regular deposits and maintain your
personal information to keep your share account active.
Effective May 31, 2011, dormant accounts with
no activity will now be charged a monthly $10.00
dormant account fee. And remember, accounts with
no activity for three years are classified by the State
of California as “abandoned property,” and credit
unions are obligated to turn these funds over to
the State.
New Open End Loan Dates Changed
Effective September 1st, 2009 all of our open end loan due dates will be changed from your current due date to SEPTEMBER 28,2009. Please update your auto bill pay or records to reflect the new date of 9-28-09. If you have any questions, please contact us at 949-716-5746.
Long Beach New Hours
Effective September 3rd, 2009 we will be in the Long Beach Fluor office on Thursday's only from 9am to 2pm.
Irvine Spectrum Hours
Effective September 2nd,2009 Capstone Federal Credit Union will be at the Spectrum on Wednesday's from 9am to 2pm, and pay day Friday's
New Loan Administrative Fee

Email from NCUA
Some of our members have reported receiving an email from our regulator, the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), requesting personal information. The email subject is 'Notification from NCUA.' Delete this email immediately. Your credit union and it's regulator, NCUA, do not send unsolicited general emails requesting your personal information. We have this information and will never ask for it via email.
Overdraft Advance
Starting February 13, 2007 we will begin providing you with a special program called "Overdraft Advance" for members 18 years and older with a personal share draft account open for at least 90 days. Overdraft Advance provides protection in the event you overdraw your account up to $500. By paying your overdraft this way, you will eliminate the extra expense and potential embarrassment of having a share draft returned. Overdraft Advance is a non-contractual agreement that requires no action on your part. This service is available to all members unless they opt out. If you do not wish to have this service, complete and sign the Option to Waive included with your statement. If you would like a copy of this waiver please contact the credit union.
